Biography

Dale Robinson is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Biomechanical Engineering Research Group at the University of Melbourne. Dale obtained his BEng and BSci (Hons) (Nov 2009) at the University of Queensland. After working as an engineer for Boeing Aerostructures Australia, Dale obtained his PhD (Oct 2015) at the University of Melbourne in the field of Biomechanical Engineering. His research focused on the mechanical properties of human cartilage and how these change during osteoarthritis. Dale's current research interests include the study accelerative pelvic and spine injuries, orthopaedic biomechanics of the temporal mandibular joint and finite element analysis based on pQCT.
