Projects recruiting PhDs
We are seeking highly competitive CVs for PhD applications in the following areas:
- Electron microscopy visualisation of the developing heart at single-cell resolution
- Computational physiology of mitochondrial dynamics and bioenergetics
- Multiscale modelling of heart development, growth, and remodelling
- Industry sponsored PhD in microfluidics for drug screening applications
- Microscopy image segmentation using deep learning
We are always eager to hear from students and researchers who want to join our journey. People interested in working at the convergence of STEM disciplines with the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply:
- All engineering disciplines
- Computer science (with experience in image/signal processing)
- Applied mathematics
- Biological sciences
Prerequisites
We have a highly competitive selection process for PhD applications. Students with strong CVs and GPAs in the range of 8.5 and above (out of 10) are encouraged to apply. Prior peer-reviewed publications (first or co-author) and/or Masters in a relevant Engineering or Science degree further strengthen the application, but not essential.
