To become a professionally accredited Biomedical Engineer, you will complete five years of study, starting with a Biomedical Engineering Systems major in a three-year undergraduate degree, followed by a two-year Master of Biomedical Engineering.

Undergraduate study
This major is offered within the Bachelor of Biomedicine or the Bachelor of Science. Both undergraduate degrees lead to a Master of Biomedical Engineering.

Graduate coursework
If you have a relevant undergraduate major, you'll be able to complete the masters degree in 2 years. Once you’ve started studying, you can follow the ‘Business’ specialisation or continue without specialising.

Graduate research
Students who have a deep interest in Biomedical Engineering are invited to apply for entry to the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees.
